Little Georgia’s latest release ‘Joy’ came about during a spring clean in mid 2020. A full live performance at The Northcote Social Club in May 2019 was found on an old handy cam that had been retired lying dormant in a box. The audio file was pulled from the handy cam, and with no studio over dubs or re-recordings ‘Joy’ is the duo’s first live album. It is 100% low fi. It is raw and real and represents Little Georgia’s passion for electric live performances, which has become their trademark over their many years touring and honing their craft.

After the release of the bands debut studio album “All The While” in 2018 (produced by award winning American producer Nick DiDia – Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Powderfinger) they spent the following year touring between Australia and North America, growing their sound and their audiences including sets on the main stages of Byron Bay Blues Fest and appearances at Americana Fest (Nashville) and Folk Alliance (New Orleans).

2020 saw Little Georgia stepping into a new sonic chapter with the release of ‘Texas’ – a 6 minute psyched-out, grunge-tinged epic (also produced by Nick DiDia) coupled with an other worldly cinematic experience, directed and filmed by award winning American cinematographer Matt Kleiner.

2021 is set to be another exciting year for Little Georgia with new releases and national touring.
